- The melting point of cocoa butter is just below 98.6 degree F. This is how chocolate melts so wonderfully in our mouth.

- Quality dark chocolate contains flavonoids which help reduced the risk of heart disease.


- Cocoa Beans were used as currency among the Mayan and Aztec cultures (and who says money doesn't grown on trees)!

- The largest chocolate bar ever manufactured was in Italy in 2000. The bar had a weight of 5,000 lbs.

- A dark chocolate bar has approximately 10-15g of sugar. A glass of orange juice has about 22g of sugar.

- It takes about 400 cacao beans to create 1 lb of chocolate.
